PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Responsible for assessing, acquiring and implementing methods of clinical information to be utilized in clinical decision-making processes throughout the CMCHS continuum of care as directed. Assists Physician and departments by evaluating methods of data collection, assisting with the implementation and education on the use of appropriate clinical data collection methodologies, as well as developing reporting mechanisms for the end users in their workflow processes.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current unrestricted PA license, Bachelor of Science Degree preferred.
2. Experience: Two (2) years cardiac cath lab experience. Two (2) years experience in direct patient care in a hospital setting. Previous cardiac cath database experience preferred.
3. Specific Requirement: (1.) Demonstrated analytical and creative abilities to analyze data and trends, to develop application and PC based systems to monitor identified needs to produce statistical reports, and to make appropriate recommendations required. (2.) Knowledge of a variety of software applications. (3) Self direction, initiative and self-starter skills as necessary.
