Title:

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

POSITION SUMMARY

Works with individuals, families and groups to treat mental and emotional disorders and to promote optimum mental health. Counsels with emphasis on recovery.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's degree in counseling, psychology or related field. Pennsylvania licensure preferred.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of supervised clinical counseling experience in a psychiatric setting required.

Specific Requirements: Must be able to speak, write and understand the English language to effectively communicate with predominantly English-speaking population. High tolerance for stress. Must be able to effectively deal with crisis, loss and hostile situations. Must possess sufficient maturity and balance to address the often difficult and sordid conditions inherent in position.
