| POSITION SUMMARY | |||||||||||||||||
| The Clinical Leader is a professional registered nurse who assumes responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and operations of an assigned unit, as well as clinical responsibility for the delivery of patient care. Serves as a role model for professional practice and directs patient flow activity to maintain consistency in patient care. Assists the department Manager/Director in the appropriate utilization of material, financial and human resources in the assigned unit. | |||||||||||||||||
| QUALIFICATIONS | |||||||||||||||||
| Education: Graduate from an approved School of Nursing with current, unrestricted Pennsylvania license. Bachelor of Science degree required. Masters degree preferred. (Equivalent experience and/or education may be considered in place of a bachelors or masters degree.) Clinical certification in area of specialty. Current BLS Healthcare Provider. ALS / PALS as required | |||||||||||||||||
| Experience: Three (3) years clinical experience in area of specialty with demonstrated clinical expertise in area of specialty. | |||||||||||||||||
