POSITION SUMMARY

Assists in the preparation, serving and distribution of patient and/or staff meals; clean dishes, pots and utensils; performs other various duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Ability to read and write, to follow oral and written instructions, menu slips, etc., and to count change.

Experience: On-the-job training

Specific Requirements: Must be able to speak, write and understand the English language to effectively communicate with predominantly English-speaking population. Preference for contacts with employees and customers. Ability to work under pressure and at peak demand times.
