POSITION SUMMARY

Under administrative direction, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care. Provides direction to the development and evaluation of Nursing personnel during a specific tour of duty and maintains operational aspects of the unit. Supports and implements the Nursing Department/Hospital goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current unrestricted PA license. Bachelor of Science degree in nursing preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience, including experience as a Charge Nursing, Team Leader or Nursing Manager.

Specific Requirements: Must be able to speak, write and understand the English language to effectively communicate with predominantly English-speaking population. Leadership abilities, written and oral communication, ability to present information in a concise, organized manner. Commitment to promotion and participation in Quality Assurance programs.
