CMC hosts Surgeons from Germany for Orthopedic Observations

Community Medical Centers director of orthopedic surgery, Harry Schmaltz, M.D., recently hosted a delegation of surgeons from Germany to evaluate the hospitals orthopedic surgery practices. Marywood Physician Assistant Students' Book Drive

Physician assistant students from Marywood University organized a children’s book drive last month in recognition of Physician Assistant Week. Over 1,900 books were collected and distributed to local hospitals and physician offices.

East Scranton Business Assoc.'s Community Pride Award

CMC earned the East Scranton Business Association's Community Pride Award recognizing outstanding public service, real estate improvement or other achievements. Employee Activities Committee Organizes Gifts for VAC

CMC staff members donated more than 200 holiday gifts to the Voluntary Action Center last week through the VACs annual gift drive for the needy.
