POSITION SUMMARY

The Physician Assistant Cardiac Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring the care of the Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery and Cardiovascular Intervention patients across the continuum of care. The Physician Assistant will cross multiple lines and improve processes for patients and families as well as staff and physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program. Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. Certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years cardiac clinical experience, demonstrates leadership capabilities.
