POSITION SUMMARY

The telemetry technician monitors patient status on cardiac monitors and documents responses. Functions under the supervision of a licensed professional for delegated tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school graduate. Current BLS Healthcare Provider. Satisfactory completion of telemetry/cardiac course or competency validation.

Experience: Health care/nurse aid training or experience preferred.

Specific Requirements: Current BLS Healthcare provider.
