POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinates operational and daily tasks associated with Volunteer Service, PriorityCare and Customer Relations. Duties include, but are not limited to, office management, clerical support, special events, volunteer orientation and hospital tours.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree preferred, applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience: Five (5) to seven (7) years in customer relations required. Office and volunteer management experience helpful. Experience with populations ranging from student to senior in working with and directing activities of junior/senior volunteers and PriorityCare members.
Specific Requirements: Computer literacy to include all Microsoft applications. Position demands patience and a mature, congenial disposition. Sensitivity to, and understanding of, special needs/characteristics of individuals across the lifespan. Must possess problem solving abilities. Ability to work conscientiously under pressure, to be extremely flexible, make good decisions without supervision and the ability to communicate with persons with varying educational and socio-economic status. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate special departmental needs is essential. Must be able to speak, write and understand the English language to effectively communicate with predominantly English-speaking population.
