Chau Fe Huang, M.D. graduated from Chung-Shan Medical College in Taiwan in 1966. He then completed his internship at Queens Hospital in Jamaica, New York followed by a residency in pathology at St. Luke's Hospital. He returned to Queens Hospital Center and completed his internal medicine residency in 1974. He completed his cardiology residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 1976.
Dr. Huang joined Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd in 1993. In the past he served as the Director of the department of Cardiology at Community Medical Center from 1978-1993. He is a preceptor of the resident training program at the VA Hospital in Wilkes Barre, PA. He is currently the Chief of Non-Invasive Cardiology at Community Medical Center. Prior to joining Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd, Dr. Huang was a member of Lackawanna Medical Group.
Dr. Huang is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a sub-specialty in cardiology. He also holds certifications in nuclear cardiology as well as echocardiography. Dr. Huang's areas of special interest include echocardiography including transesophageal echocardiography.
