David L. Lohin, D.O. graduated from The Johns Hopkins University in 1982. He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia in 1987. He completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1989. He then completed a fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology at
the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, NJ in 1992.

Dr. Lohin joined Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd in 1992. He is actively involved in the CRUSADES Study at Community Medical Center and Moses Taylor Hospital. He is Medical Staff Vice President at Community Medical Center. Dr. Lohin is actively involved with several quality focused committees. He serves as the current Chairman for the Quality Improvement Committee for the Risk Retention Group of Northeast Pennsylvania, a physician created group to ease the malpractice crisis in this area. He is on the board of directors at Community Medical Center.

Dr. Lohin is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of many societies including the American College of Cardiology, American Osteopathic Association and American College of Osteopathic Internists. He has been award several honors including a Certificate of Appreciation for his involvement with the American Heart Association. His special progressive interests include the prevention of cardiovascular disease throughout the region and the emergent opening of heart vessels in the catheterization laboratory during an acute heart attack.
