Overview The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is designed for patients recovering from heart attack, valve replacement, coronary artery bypass graft surgery, angioplasty as well as a person with stable angina.
The CMC Cardiac Rehabilitation Center has multi-disciplinary staff which includes: cardiovascular physicians, registered nurses certified in advanced cardiac life support, exercise physiologists, dieticians, nutritionists, psychologists, psychiatrists, vacational counselors, pharmacists, physical and occupational therapists, health educators, and the entire CMC Healthcare System.
State-of-the-Art Equipment CMC's Cardiac Rehabilitation Center uses the latest cardiac rehabilitation equipment, which consists of motor-driven treadmills, stationary bicycles, arm ergometers and Concept II rowing machines. Upon completion of a detailed history, an exercise program is developed based on your own capabilities by our rehabilitation staff.
